Hi, I'm Phil.
Nice to e-meet you!
I’ve been taking pictures of British wildlife since 2018 when I bought my first ever ‘proper’ camera – a Canon 77D DSLR, along with an 18-135mm kit lens, which I still have and occasionally use to this very day!
All of my wildlife photography on this site is 100% genuinely wild – nothing tame or staged – and all pictures have been captured without the use of bait or food in order to capture wildlife in their natural state without any human interference.
I typically just walk around the British countryside with a camera, handheld. Most of my photography is done within my local area – I’m lucky to live near the borders of Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire meaning I have easy access to some wonderful countryside within the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire Ridgeway and Wiltshire Downs. I’m also a member of Wilshire, Gloucestershire and Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trusts as well as the RSPB.
As well as photos, I also have a YouTube channel which you can watch and subscribe to free of charge by clicking here. Some of the pictures on this site have actually been taken while filming YouTube videos so you can literally watch how I captured them in the field.
